Fáilte.

I lived in Ireland for 3 months right after it reopened to the public in the Covid-19 epidemic. It was a very bizarre time to be in the country, but one I enjoyed nonetheless. Seeing the stunning West Coast, hiking the East Coast, and exploring in-between are memories that will stay with me forever.

On a day trip out from Dublin, stumbled across this old tower. It was a welcome sight under blue skies in the middle of February–a day that was not taken for granted.

Hiking.

A stay in Dublin isn’t complete without at least one trek through Temple Bar. Don’t fret, 99.9% of my time was spent north of the river. A favorite haunt ended up being Brother Hubbard for the atmosphere and their chai (w/ pink peppercorns no less).

Temple Bar.

Ironically, St. Patrick’s Day. The one time when the churchyard was basically empty as the streets were closed and people filled them elsewhere. This was taken post parade with a friend who flew from Texas to spend the time with me. A time that will not be forgotten.

Last day in Ireland.
